1861 $10 Confederate States of America T-30 PCGS VF30

This 4th Series note has the famous "Sweet Potato Dinner" vignette. Whether this encounter between General Marion (the Swamp Fox) and an unknown British officer took place is debatable, but it is known that General Marion made the British look foolish on the field. Interest at 8% was to be paid after the war ended. This Fricke PF-3 does not have the "B. Duncan" at left and is a rarity 3. A very well-printed and framed note.
